Come find your place in Eden's culture and heritage

In 1976, a group of citizens in Eden, North Carolina became concerned that their local history would be lost to future generations. So they formed the Eden Preservation Society. Its primary focus is the historic areas of Leaksville, Spray, and Draper within the city limits of Eden. An elected board, dues-paying members, and many loyal volunteers work together to maintain and promote the unique attractions of these historic areas.

We all volunteer our time and talents in many places and ways!

Meetings

The Eden Preservation Society meets every 4th Monday of the month at 6:00 PM. We usually eat dinner together at a local restaurant, and then enjoy an informative program about Eden or Rockingham County, past, present, or future. Send an email or call the number below for information.

NOTE: Due to Covid-19 concerns, we have been unable to meet since early 2020.

But stay in touch, we'll be back together soon.

In the meantime, ask how you can help - in the Governor Morehead Park, at the Superintendent's House, or along our Adopt-a-Highway route.
